Newport Beach, California Jay Jones is a veteran of automotive competition and precision driving. The following includes a sample of his experience: - Open Wheel Dirt Car Racing at Ascot Park in the 1970's. - SCCA Road Racing license since 1993. - Won his very first SCCA race. Has since won several races and garnered several podium finishes in both sprint and endurance events. - First in Class in the Inaugural West Coast BMW CCA Club Racing event at Thunderhill. - Second in Class in the 1998 One Lap of America. - Has raced vintage cars for Cunningham BMW, driving Trans Am BMW 2002's, including participation in the televised 20th Anniversary of BMW Motorsport in Florida. - Served as a High-Performance Driving Instructor for more than 75 schools since 1986. - Worked as a Precision Driver for television commercials such as Saleen Mustang and NGK Spark Plugs.
